SCHOOL BOARD ELECTIONS
(Public Notice of Filing)
The Knob Noster Public Schools invites qualified persons interested in running for a position on the School Board to file to be a candidate in the April 2, 2024 election. There are two positions available, with three-year terms each. Interested individuals may file at the Knob Noster Public Schools District Office located at 401 East Wimer, Knob Noster, Missouri 65336.
Filing will begin on December 5, 2023 at 8:00 a.m. Filing will end on December 26, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. During this period, candidates may file by setting an appointment during the district's regular business hours, which are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. on December 26, 2023. Candidates may obtain the official candidate filing packet of forms and instructions in advance from the district office upon request. The school district office will be closed December 20, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. through December 25, 2023 (Christmas Break). Filing will not occur on those days, or on any other days that the school district's offices are closed due to weather or health-related closure. The closing date for filing is December 26, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. The school district office will reopen from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. on December 26.
