The ballot language for Proposition KNP will read as follows on August 5, 2025:
"Proposition KNP - Shall the Board of Education of Knob Noster R-VIII School District of Johnson County, Missouri be authorized to increase the operating tax levy ceiling to $3.80 per $100 of assessed valuation according to the 2025 assessment for the purpose of constructing specific academic and athletic components including Agriculture, Manufacturing, and Building Trades, Wrestling Facility, Youth Sports Facilities, Running Track, Football Field, and Stadium, to be included with the new Knob Noster High School which is currently under construction?
If this question is approved, the operating tax levy of the District is estimated to increase by $0.30 per $100 of assessed valuation.”
