The Knob Noster Board of Education held its annual reorganization meeting on April 21, at which time incumbent members Candie Howard, Grant Jones, and Paul Bertschy were sworn in with each accepting a new three-year term.
For the 2026-2027 school year, the Board unanimously appointed the following officers: Candie Howard - President, Grant Jones - Vice President, Paul Bertschy - Treasurer, and Cliff Everts - Secretary.
Superintendent of Schools Jerrod Wheeler shared, “The Knob Noster community is so very blessed to have this Board of Education remaining in place as the district moves through unprecedented times of transformational growth and progress. It takes a stable, unified, engaged, and courageous board to make the decisions and take the actions that this board has taken in recent years….actions that have aligned the district for new levels of success and ongoing decades of growth. President Jones has provided a calm, steady, and forward-focused mindset as Board President during an extraordinary period of growth and progress. As he passes the gavel to incoming President Howard, we look forward to the continued collaborative culture of excellence that has become a hallmark of the Knob Noster Board of Education.
