BOARD CANDIDACY NOTICE
The Knob Noster Public Schools invites qualified persons interested in running for a position on the School Board to file to be a candidate in the April 7, 2026 election. There are three positions available, with three-year terms each. Interested individuals may file at the Knob Noster Public Schools District Office located at 401 East Wimer, Knob Noster, Missouri 65336.
Filing will begin on December 9, 2025 at 8:00 a.m. Filing will end on December 30, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. During this period, candidates may file by setting an appointment during the district's regular business hours, which are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. on December 30, 2025. Candidates may obtain the official candidate filing packet of forms and instructions in advance from the district office upon request. The school district office will be closed December 19, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. through December 30, 2025 (Christmas Break). Filing will not occur on those days, or on any other days that the school district's offices are closed due to weather or health-related closure. The closing date for filing is December 30, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. The school district office will reopen from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. on December 30.
