Knob Noster Public Schools is pleased to announce the hiring of Hanna Francy as the district’s new Director of Student Services.
Francy enters this position with 12 years of experience in education, including the past 5 years serving as Director of Special Services at Lafayette County C-1 School District. Her professional background includes work in elementary education, special education, and district level administration, where she has supported the development of programs and services that meet the diverse needs of students.

Superintendent Dr. Jerrod Wheeler said Francy’s five years of experience serving as Director in Higginsville provides her with a solid foundation for success as she joins Knob Noster Schools.
“Mrs. Francy joins the district following a successful five-year tenure in the Lafayette County School District as Director of Special Services. She impressed the interview committee with her knowledge of the various roles of this position, but most importantly, with her unwavering focus on student success. We look forward to her bringing this dedication, experience, and perspective into the district to lead the various roles of her department.”
Francy will replace Kasha Oetinger who recently accepted the role of Assistant Superintendent for Knob Noster.
Francy will officially begin her duties in the Knob Noster School District on July 1, 2026.
