About Knob Noster Public Schools
Knob Noster Public Schools proudly serves the Whiteman Air Force Base and Knob Noster communities.
With two out of every three students being military-connected, Knob Noster is one of only 30 heavily-impacted military school districts in the nation.
Serving our students and strengthening the Air Force mission is a job our team takes seriously, as we strive to provide a responsive, personalized learning experience for each student.
Knob Noster Public Schools was recognized by the Military Child Education Coalition (MCEC) in 2017 and 2019 as a National Partner of Excellence for our close collaboration with Whiteman Air Force Base.
All four of our schools in the district were ranked “Best Schools” by U.S. News & World Report in 2026. Knob Noster High School has ranked as the #1 rural high school for college and career readiness in Missouri for eight years in a row.
