MEAL PRICES FOR 2022-2023

Getting a second meal or any a la carte items will be charged to a student's meal account. 

Breakfast and lunch will be served beginning on the first day of school August 22. Families apply for free and reduced meals by completing the Free & Reduced Application linked below. Students will also be given a copy of the application by the first day of school.

MEAL PAYMENTS

The Knob Noster Food Service Department accepts online deposits to lunch accounts through the Parent Portal. Parent Portal is accessible through the website and district app (a free download in the Google Play or App Stores).

Parents are also able to make deposits by sending money to school with their children.

Resuming at the start of the school year, weekly low and negative food service balance alerts will be sent via the SchoolMessenger telephone system. These notifications will be made Monday evenings after 6:00 pm and will reflect individual student balances. If you have more than one student in the district, you may receive multiple notifications. Should you have questions about your student's food service account, please contact the office where your child attends school.

HOW TO MAKE AN ONLINE DEPOSIT

1. Go to www.knr8.net or the Knob Noster Public Schools mobile app.
2. Click on the SIS Portal quick link.
3. Enter your username and password in the Parent tab (there are three tabs: Staff, Parent, Student). NOTE: Username is your email address on file at the school.
4. Click the Meal Service Balance tile.
5. Click the Pay button.
6. Enter the deposit amount in the appropriate box(es). NOTE: You can enter an amount for each child listed or for only one child.
7. Select Proceed to Verification to review your transaction, service charge, and total.
8. Click Proceed to PayPal to complete the payment. NOTE: You do not have to create a PayPal account to use this service. If you do not use a PayPal account, you will select Pay with Debit or Credit Card to checkout as a guest.
9. Enter the requested information, and click on Review Order and Continue.
10. A confirmation window will pop up. Click on Pay Now at the bottom of the screen to complete the transaction.
11. A thank you message will pop up, and you will receive an email receipt.
12. If you return to Parent Portal, your deposit will appear in the Meals area immediately.
